Alcohol-reduced printing is only possible with good rollers and with correct adjustment of the dampening rollers. Dampening rollers that change their circumference due to the influence of dampening solution additive and alcohol are a common reason that difficult printing forms cannot be printed with a minimum use or without alcohol. The setting of the dampening rollers is therefore of decisive importance in determining whether it is possible to reduce or completely replace the alcohol and thus the VOCs
